If you have an Enterprise account with EchoMark, you can invite new users, manage roles and permissions in your organization from the People page of the EchoMark web app. If your organization uses SSO, such as Okta Workforce, you can still manage roles and permissions from the People page, but account access and invitations will be managed through your SSO provider instead of EchoMark.
Permission types
Admin
Admins can manage every aspect of an EchoMark account from Mark options, to permission management. Admins can also run leak investigations across the entire organization. Similar to an Exchange or Workspace admin, admins have a high level of access to sensitive data (e.g. although their activity is logged, they can view any email or attachment routed through EchoMark) and Admin permissions should be given out carefully.
Member
Members can sign into the EchoMark app to mark documents and send email messages. They can also use the email add-ons to adjust mark options or use AI rephrasing directly from their native clients. Members cannot run leak investigations because doing so might expose sensitive data from other users (leak investigations take into account the entire chain of replies and forwards of a given message in order to ensure that a matched result is accurate).
None
Users without any permissions or account are still represented in EchoMark if they have ever had an email routed through EchoMark. This could happen due to a mail flow or mail compliance rule in Exchange or Workspace. If you need to remove EchoMark app and add-on access from a current Member or Admin, you can set their permissions to none.
Google Workspace Overrides
If your organization has a Google Workspace integration, you'll see additional options to override group posting permissions. These permissions allow you to get around some limitations in Google's APIs.
Allow posting to any group
This option allows the designated user bypass all group permissions in your organization. Use this sparingly.
Skip moderation
Since EchoMark does not support marking for messages sent to groups with moderation enabled, we've provided an option to bypass moderation altogether. You'll want to do this, for example, if you have an executive who should be able to post to a moderated group, and still needs those messages to be EchoMarked.
