EchoMark File Share (formerly SecureView) provides a way to share files while protecting them from unintended distribution. When you share a file through EchoMark File Share, it is automatically invisibly watermarked for each person who opens it. There are a number of ways to share a file using EchoMark File Share:
- Upload and share via the web app
- Convert an attachment to EchoMark File Share (formerly SecureView) link using an email client plugin
- Convert attachments to EchoMark File Share links by organizational policy (Coming soon)
Upload and share via the web app
Creating a EchoMark File Share (formerly SecureView) link from the web app is as simple dragging and dropping a file into the files list at app.echomark.com/files, waiting for upload to complete, and then pressing Copy link or Share. Learn more about link permissions and customization here.
Convert an attachment to a EchoMark File Share (formerly SecureView) link via email client plugin
If you have an Enterprise account and an SMTP integration enabled, you can use the Outlook Add-in or Gmail Add-on to convert attachments to EchoMark File Share links. With the appropriate plugin loaded in a new message, simply click Convert attachments to EchoMark File Share links and then send the message as you normally would using the plugins. This feature currently only supports PDFs, but other file types are in development.
